Thanks for all the helpful advice and conversations.I'm hoping you have one more "help fix" for me today.Plugged in the EDM-LCD-CS that I have, on the screen I can tell that power is getting into it but all the screen shows is a faint all-pixels-on in the top row.Any ideas? Greg Young Posted December 12, 2012 Share Posted December 12, 2012 Faint pixel display is often indicative of a bad power supply. If you have a VOM/digital multimeter, get a quick reading of the voltage output of your power supply. If low that's the issue.It also might look OK, but under load (when powering transmitter) the voltage may drop. The only way to measure that is to take off the case, and measure the voltage where it comes into the unit and attaches to the circuit board.Assuming no damage to the transmitter, a bad power supply is the most likely culprit.
