shfr26
What have you used, involving your display or setup, that was "NOT" intended to be used for that purpose? The only one I can think of right now is Holdman's potato peeler thing. Any others??

Tim Herberger
How about our trampoline frame used for the bottom ring on the mega tree. Attached files
GaryBo
Political campaign signs. Gather them up after election.I use the re-bar to help "stake" my artificial Christmas treesin the yard, I cut re-bar, pound in ground, and place blow molds over, so they won'tblow over when it gets windy. Re-bar also good to stake other displays.Used the "back" of political signs to make my "tune to..... FM" sign.Used canvas political banners to cover equipment and displays while in storage.Used an old electric gate motor, and gears to power my Ferris Wheel. CKSedg
Like others, I use my regular flag pole as the center support for my mega tree. Just change the top section with a top to hold a star and with pulleys to raise the whole thing up.

What did you use or is your flag pole one solid pole?
CKSedg
No, my pole is in segments. I'll try to take a picture of it and post it.

bisquit476
I used some old 1/4" stainless steel tubing pounded into the ground as front and back supports on foam tombstones last year. They didn't fall over once.

rikerz
Back to the 30ft flag pole, I now have someone who wants to sell me a 30ft one piece parking lot square light pole which is heavy duty for $350. Does this sound like a good deal folks? I would place this pole on a small hill and use it year round for flags and of course LIGHTS! Input your thoughts please and thanks! scubado
I service business and production copiers. I save the used hot rollers to make led light fixtures. The aluminim tubes make great heat sinks for the high powered leds that I use.

Dan C
I used two PVC Toilet flanges to help wrap lights for my arches. Don't spin the pole! Spin the flanges around the pole as the lights unwrap.
