Tips to Speed up "rendering"

Good Morning all and @MattBrown @k6ccc

I have recently significantly increased my total number of Pixels. I now am approaching 60,00 pixels. As would be expected the rendering time has started to increase. A 10 second change to my matrix, can now take about 45 secs to complete. I am running on a high end machine with lots of Cpu power, memory and a 3090 graphics card.

I am NOT complaining about S6. The speed of the rendering has improved GREATLY with every release.

I am looking for tips/suggestions to reduce my wait time.

1) It may be me dreaming and not possible, but was there a discussion at one time, about having a "batch" option for rendering . By this I mean where S6 could hold all my changes until I hit the play button.

2) Maybe another way would be to split out my matrixes  "the big cause of the delay" from my preview and sequence them separately. Not keen on that approach.

3) So far, I seem to get the most bang for the buck, by splitting my long sequences  ( 5-10 minutes ) that I run on quiet/no music show nights into shorter ones.

3) Do any of the users on here, with a high pixels count, have any tricks to share

Thanks

Steve

Hit the "Check Mark" to "Pause" the sequence from rendering until your ready to Play
