rdornhart
Hi, I have just used the "Convert Regular into RGB" process posted by "ItsMeBobO" which works fantastic. Can someone tell me how to change the colors of an RGB channel. I want to be able to change the colors multiple times through out a sequence on an individual RGB channel. I cannot find an easy way to do this. Cheers.
dgrant
Try the "Color Fade" tool. It'll let you change whatever you wish, color-wise on the RGB channels.
sticks4legs
Dgrant nailed it, but I would suggest you watch the colour fade tutorial. Show lots of tips and tricks to speed things up. I was unaware of the reverse intelligence until I watch it
Max-Paul
Color fade is not the end all to color control. Neither is this, but it does allow for other options. Clicking on the RGB channel will open it back up to three channels. One is red, Blue and Green. Depending on the intensity of each will mix together and make a color. For example 50% Red and Green will produce a yellow, and so on with different mixes. Clicking on the RGB channel again will close the three color channels. TonyD
I am curious what 2 colors are "most opposite" in the sense that if i pick one color as the start in the color fade tool and the other color as the end i will get the widest range of colors (all through the color spectrum). Spread that fade over a really long section to get the widest range of colors (more for an animation-only sequence).
dgrant
I think the color fade tool tends to stay within certain color realms as opposed to running the full range. Like going from a purple to white should run the full range but in fact, it'll just fade from purple to white. Now you could manually change from say white, fading to yellows, then fading to greens, blues and reds and so on.
Max-Paul
There is no way I can see how you would change three colors with just two points (a beginning and an end).
