crazycarkermama
Silly question, but there is part of a song I don't want, is there anyway to cut it out using the software? (other than the "change total time")
Don
The Sequence Editor isn't an audio editor. If there is part of a song you don't want, you would need to edit the audio with an audio editing program. Audacity is useful for many things, audio editing included. Orville
As Don said, that is your best bet for cutting/editing audio, just changing the total time may or may not work if the audio wasn't trimmed/cut/edited to fit the complete time of the sequence. I tried that as an experiment once and it added much too long a delay between sequences. An audio editor like Audacity or any music editor in your software arsenal is a must have for doing displays and correcting, shortening, removing parts of music.. I've cut out many areas of songs that contain language that was not family friendly or shortened songs that would just be far too long.
