Chief Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 We are orgaizing and planning a parade of lights for our communities and The Chief of another department and I, The Chief of the Pineville Fire Department are wanting to light our trucks with and play music as well. Preston Meyer Posted March 14, 2013 Share Posted March 14, 2013 The LOR CMB- 16 D is a 16 channel controller card that can be run on 12 or 24 V. (don't know what is on your trucks) and directly control dc lights. You would also need a director, (I like the mini MP3 director), to run the music and sequence (so you don't have to run a computer), and an amplifier (probably don't want to tie into your on board PA system, but maybe that's ok, again don't know what you have). If you use LED's for lights, you could run the entire system on a self contained battery and don't even need to tap into the vehicle power.
