I like that idea of a LOR analog input card.

Yha, every-thing has to be pre-programmed, so you can't control it in real-time, Buy it would be fine by me just to have pre-set patterns.

Even with the idea of the "Home Theater Special Effects" doing each movie like you would a song for the Christmas light display.

Have some Strobes, Lighting, Fog w/ chiller, Penumatic hooked to the couch (ie Motion Simulator), and more. It could be a completely immersive environment. Take the movies to new hights.

So you are going to spend 300 hours doing a 90 minute movie? There isn't a move made that I want to watch the number of times to get that kind of return on investment.

I thought this was going to be a serious thread.

Yes I would, I would spend maybe a half-hour for every one minute of movie.

You would not be programming every little thing like you would a song

It would not take 300 hours, maybe like 10 to 20 hours.
I bet It could even be done in as little as 4 to 6 hours, serious.

The pay-off for the programmer is different from the viewer.

Some of the things that would be sync would be like:

Flashes (ie lightning)
Movement (like in Days of Thunder)
Major vibrations that the Butt-kicker can't do
Low-lay fog
Mist (fog)
Power Fluxuations
wind
Breathing on the neck
Movement in the room
Drops
and so-on

If I had the money, I would do this 100%
