Ebuechner
You are right I forgot about the Wonka effect... Looked it up on google... Because, science. It's 0.57579 volts per foot turn, which explains all the bulbs I have to replace. At 10 feet that comes out to like almost 6 more volts. I could almost counter the Wonka effect with a length of orange colored cord but it wouldnt stop the vortex.DrewYou could do that but I think you'll run into a new problem. Running the orange cord after the striped will be like funneling a lot of water through a small hole. All the electrons are going to speed up and now you risk blowing the tops off of all the bulbs. Unless you buy new bulbs that are rated for the higher electron speed. But you can always add a Goldberg compensator. Rube Goldberg had some really good stuff for dealing with these sort of problems.

Mega Arch
Can use them anywhere as long as you know what you're doing. Like knowing how to save money on electric bill. http://http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e217/MegaArch/Mobile Uploads/image_zpsshlxxdxe.png
