Can you "smooth" trigger a show?

Picture this:

Sequence runs in a loop that simply has all the lights ON full.

Then someone comes and activates a trigger to start a sequence.

Is there a way to make it so when the trigger is activated, the lights fade to black and then the show begins? Could I theoretically add the fade-out to the beginning of the musical sequence?

I haven't tried this yet so I'm not sure if LOR clears all the channels when a trigger is activated.

Just guessin here but I think you will have a short blackout moment when the switch is hit. You could do a dim of all the channels at the beginning but still think you might have a short blackout when that trigger is hit.

And if there is a brief blackout, maybe it won't be enough to really be a concern. But I think the pause of the LOR system working to activate that sequence will cause a short blackout IMO.

To avoid the potential blackout that Santas Helper mentions, perhaps try unchecking the "Turn used lights off at the end of each sequence" option in your show.
