The black backdrop was 3 rolls of plastic scene setters (Stars and Planets) That was a pain in the @$$ to do and it is the one thing I will never do again. Tracy West Posted February 14, 2014 Author Share Posted February 14, 2014 Well it is official. The West's Lights will be off for 2014. Sold the house and moving to Austin at the end of the month. Renting a home for a year while we search out for our forever home. There will be no time for programming or prop building this year due to new job and short timeline of needing to be ready to move into the REAL home when that time comes. grump010 Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 When we migrated to our forever area and were waiting for our forever home to be built a few years ago, I couldn't stand it leading up to Christmas and just cut and pasted the mini trees and a few candy canes out of my sequences and used that for the season. I don't think I could go a season without lights, my mini trees are still running just doing fades back and forth to have something other than 3 feet deep white in the front yard. I have all my stuff in storage and I will not be doing any kind of displays this year But, I have bought a new laptop and I am working on ideas for next Halloween! The Madness will return in 2015!!!!
