lightzilla
Sorta looks like the Lor MP3 player without the enclosure. The only draw back is there is no place for the ear phone.

Caleb Linburg
I was thinking maybe people could come up to the display and text a number and the display would start.Save energy!
garyfunk
They could text for the status and get the current song list. They could select a song and it would be queued. There are a lot of functions that could ne added.

COOLMan I don't see why you guys didn't catch on to this sooner. But Gary, why do you want folks to unlock your front door? Now maybe a neighbors door. Hhhmmmmm.... garyfunk
Is this the one you have: http://www.mccdaq.com/usb-data-acquisition/USB-DIO24-37.aspxIt's interesting. Send it and I'll start writing code for it. It already supports .NET so it should not be too hard.
Caleb Linburg
There should be something where you could vote and the one with the most votes would be the next song to play. Otherwise the show would battle against itself for which person to listen to.

I see this projet going more in the direction of DIY. Since it has to talk to the LOR a lot of the software needs to be local and I may as well write everything myself.
