I have been looking at this unit myself

The only negative that i have found is

the color choice for letters/numbers is limited to a mix of rgb

as shown on the screen

If that is the unit I looked at a year or two ago, it will only by DMX let you pick from a range of factory text, and one user defined text string.. You can't predefine more than one text string, and you can't send text to it by DMX... Plus the pixels are a mix of colors as stated above..
