LightORamaDan
Good News... the firmware with native support for 512 channels (along with Software support for up to 512 channels ) was released for beta testing today. If you set the Unit ID so something that ends in '0' like '10' or '20'... the iDMX will stay in legacy mode and act like it does today. If you want to take advantage of all 512 channels you need to set the Unit ID to something that does not end in '0' like '01' or '02' ... '11'.... Better News... the beta firmware for the iDMX supports 128 intelligent channels!Dan

I can't wait for the ichan count to go up!As I understand it, it took a lot of work to squeeze in the additional 64 iChannels.. I doubt that we will be able to squeeze more than 128 iChannels out of the current hardware.Dan
