As i think it is a dmx controller hooked to the lor network. I dont know. Also looking to do somthing with some lazers is that even possible. Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 Hey Danforgot to mention lasersI have two lases -non dmxone laser dmxthe dmx unit was not used for 2009 -- not enough time to programthe other 2 units have pre-programmed routinesi use x10 controlled by LOR to turn those units on when i wantx10 is not good for timing critical events but to turnon the laser and let them run their programs it works greatwill be getting into the dmx laser later this yearFrank A. zman Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 Dan, on my website is a Basic DMX presentation that can help you out as well.With the lasers, don't permits need to be submitted to the FDA and possibly the FAA depending on where you are at in terms of the flight paths to airports?Look at Charles Belchers and Dr. jones sites. They both are significant DMX users in Christmas displays. Also the latest Planet Christmas Magazine has an article on lasers as well. Ponddude Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 It's a lot easier then you think. Once you get the hang of it you will be just fine.
