Contact Closure

I have a third party device that accepts a contact closure to start that device. What do I need with LOR to signal that device. Right now I have nine 16 channel boxes and one 8 channel box. I control my boxes from my pc so I don't have the standalone unit.

You could put the coil of a 120vac relay on the output of one of your controllers. Then connect the device input to the contacts of that relay.

So just use a single pole single throw relay that accepts 120v and outputs 24v and the LOR channel will connect to the coil and then connect the output of the relay to the contact closure input on the third party device?

Yes on the 120V coil but no to the output, it will only be SPST contacts. If you need 24V then you will need a 24 volt power supply.
