Ponddude Posted June 22, 2009 Share Posted June 22, 2009 What type of pump are you using that draws more then 8 amps? A relay wouldn't cut down on the power that is being drawn from the pump. Maybe is you showed me the pump you planned using I would be able to see how I could help you.You may also want to look at this.
