TonyB Posted May 18 Share Posted May 18 Greetings, I am planning to use a CMB-24 D boards to operate DC pumps. I am planning to vary the speed of the pumps using the PWM capability of the CMB-24D. I am planning to have a fuse between each pump and the CMB-24D. Question: Do I/ should I have any other protection (Opto Isolation, Solid State Relays) between the pump and the CMB 24 D to protect the CMB24D? TheDucks Posted May 19 Share Posted May 19 I think you need to contact LOR direct for this. CMB24 is for more Resistive loads. Magnetic's can have some nasty back EMF You might look at the LOR Servo controllers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
