Pixels Stuttering

For Halloween I had my 16-channel device, my 10w floodlights and my new roofline (4x100 pixels) using the pixie 4 all running off a g3 mp3 controller using 500k.  Since then, I’ve had spinal fusion surgery and am only using some string led light plugged into the house and my pixie 4. I used the straight-line motion effect (I have upgraded to pro) and every time I plug in the mp3 controller the pixels come on, but they run incredibly choppy, freezes and just looks bad. Since I’m only using the pixie 4 should I change the unit id from 4,5,6,7 to 1,2,3,4 or does that not matter? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unit ID does not matter here - the Network Configuration when setting up and writing the Sd card does..
