What protocol are the original CCB Bullet pixels?

Hey everyone

A couple years ago I bought a small pile of the clearance original CCB bullet pixels (Invoice code if it helps was: CL-CCB-PIXELS-300-ORIGINAL). And for my life I can't seem to figure out what controller protocol they use (WS2812, WS2801 etc). All I want to do is do some simple animations via an Arduino or Adafruit Feather board. But I have tried numerous libraries with a number of different protocols and I just can't seem to nail it down.

If anyone could advise on the protocol and bonus points for recommending a good library, Id really appreciate it.

Thanks this helps narrow it down at a minimum. Will be working on this tonight.
