Jim Cruff
I purchased a Pixel Tree in 2019 and used it during my light show that year and it worked perfectly. We had no shows in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID. I am setting up this year using a new laptop. The sequences I ran in 2019 are fine except the Pixel tree does not light. I fired up the old PC I ran during the 2019 show and the Pixel tree works fine. So, Pixel Tree does not light-up on my new laptop but works fine on my old PC *(using the same USB-RS485-HS). If I run the RGB sequence alone (Dueling Jingle Bells2_sup.lms), it works fine on my new laptop. The tree just won't work when I run the full sequence. I have the red USB-RS485-HS, speed set to 500 Running S4 on both PCs -- same version 4.4.16 Tree connected to Pixie8 TIA, Jim

dibblejr
Any other controllers on the Network? If so please identify , please include the info as listed in the HArdware Utility search bar. Please include the tree controller info as well. fw version is important. 500K "Enhanced"? Must be "Enhanced" Check Network Preferences Thats a start and will net some answers. Jim Cruff
I will start gathering the above information this morning. I ran a quick test this morning. I removed all controllers and plugged directly into the Pixie8. I ran a sequence with just the LOR tree sequence and the tree did not light. I then ran just the LOR sequence and the tree DID light. dibblejr
Please update the pixie firmware to the latest and try again. To do so google or search for Light O Rama firmware update. Scroll down to the pixie8 firmware and download the latest one. It doesnt matter where you save it Search for the controller in the HU once found highlight the controller Select Firmware Controller selected Go to step 2 and locate the file you download step 3 After the progress bar is done you should see a "successful" in the box just to the right of the status bar. It is best to have the controller the only one connected to the adapter however since you only have 1 pixie ut is not mandatory. Test and post up your results. More to come Sounds like the LOR tree sequence has a different LOR Unit ID. Is this a sequence you can modify or is it a locked sequence? If you can open it you can see the unit ID in the sequence JR
Jim Cruff
Thank you all for the feedback. I figured it out. In the channel Settings, the path to the LOR sequence was wrong. I put in the proper path and it now works fine. It looks like I have a lot of firmware updates to do. Thanks again friends.
