filetme Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 Has anyone ever used a PIR sensor to trigger a LOR input pup ... what would the wiring for that look like? Thanks for any information.
k6ccc Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 The PIR sensor should have either two or three wires for output. The three are Normally Open (NO), Normally Closed(NC), and Common. If there are only two, either NO or NC will not be there. The Common will connect to the ground on the InputPup, and either the NO or NC (depending on which is available) will connect to one of the inputs on the InputPup. In the Hardware Utility, tell the InputPup that this input is either NO or NC (there are check boxes for that). Done. Remember that an InputPup MUST be on a non-Enhanced LOR network.
