I have all the latest documentation on all the Directors, sorry, no reset feature is in any of the manuals, I just went, loaded different Director manuals and even did a search of reset director, all came up with nothing.  And I've read these manuals for the Directors numerous times, I couldn't find anything on a reset for them.  So I still do not believe they have a physical reset option, like a jumper or button to reset one.   And is why I stated, Directors don't really have a reset feature, like a Controller has a way do it, either with a reset button or by removing or placing a jumper, or combination thereof, depending on controller.

The only way to reset, if you want to call it that, for a Director is by removing all power connections, whether by Cat5 or external adapter, wait a moment or two, then restore power.   Other than that, if there is any other way to do it, I have no idea what or how, as there is no reference in the manual on doing a reset for a Director that I can find.
