Sijaan
Hi, I have LOR1602MP3 controller, and the power cord melted due to a short circuit as seen above. Does it have a special name? where can I but it from? Can I buy it locally (not from the US and I want it asap)? What to replace exactly? the whole thing or just the head? Also I want to replace these guys: https://store.lightorama.com/rewigr18.html Any idea where I cna get them from? TheDucks
Buy any 3 prong ROUND extension cord. Cut to length desired , Crimp 1/4 Faston (blue INSULATED) connectors onto the White and black wires. Crimp a #8 ring lug onto the green (w/yellow) LOR does sell these as Sets of 8 (select long or short when ordering)
TheDucks
BTW The Long or short refers to the length INSIDE. Long for ports 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,

TheDucks
Head to Walmart or any home store and follow my first set of instructions. The same store (or most Auto Parts ) Have a basic Crimper set with some terminals. IMHO lighters need basic electrical tools.

I'm struggling with this because I take care of the lightshow only, and there is some electrician who is responsible for everything related to these kind of stuff. Just wanted to make sure we are buying the good stuff and not something that would make a big miss. I'm not from the US (europe) so I'll be going to a similar store here. A US (5-15R) outlet may be a problem in the EU.. In the US Black is Hot, White is Neutral. The controller does not care what outlet is used, so maybe your Sparky will just change things ( I assume the controller runs on 240V 50Hz) (I would have reacted differently if your profile specified a Country)
