Lightnewbie
Hi all, I have a CTB16PC. Do I need to configure the lighting curve?

TheDucks
The only time I would change a lighting curve (with HU), is to make it On/Off (only on Gen3) for Strobes or other strings with built in controllers. I set ports 15+16 to On/Off and put a red PTOUCH label on the cover AND a Red Zip tie near the outlet trying to thwart my previous stupidity that wiped out an expensive string when I set HU to Shimmer All 😭
hasslerk
I only using lighting curves in the prop definition of Preview. I set all my LED strings to 30%, as anything brighter I cannot video it (it is like a million little suns). I think for my PixCon16 I seem to remember setting the max intensity via the Network Utility (I only did it once and may have forgotten the actual steps). Vince4xmas
I use the lighting curves for my Pixie Controllers in the prop definition of my Preview. I set all my pixels to 30%. My (2) PixCon16's max intensity is setup in the hardware settings, not S5.
