S4 configuration file - I wish it was supported in S5

It used to be so easy importing a sequence file generated by Xlights into a LOR sequence.  Just import the configuration file and all channels get assigned!

Am I missing something in S5 that will allow me to do the same thing - just as easy?

Or do I have to remap everything all over again and again....?

Look for Grid View Groups in the right click menu on the Channel names and in the menu button next to the Show All Group title. The Show All group is system generated and has limited customizability. You need to create your own groups and export and import into new sequences, It's similar to tracks and allows as many custom grid configurations as you want.

Thanks for the info.  I gave it a try and it works - sort of.

When I load the sequence created by xlights, I have to copy the sequence (select all, copy), do the import and then paste the sequence.

If I load the xlights sequence and do the import, the info in the timeline is deleted.  Something that S4 didn't do when you imported a config file.

This saves some time - thanks again.  Still wish it worked like S4.
