Totally agree.  I used to use McAfee years ago, but now all it does is SLOW your machine to a snails pace.  I use only Windows Defender myself.

So a another +1 for deleting and removing McAfee {which was a royal pain because to clean it up}.

I had to find remnants of it and clean those out of my windows Registry as just deleting it DID NOT remove some stray entries in the Windows Registry and doing a search of McAfee AFTER I removed it from the Control Panel area, still left remnants of itself on my Hard Drives as well!  

I'll never install any version of a McAfee program anywhere on my machines!
