Allen555
I am trying to figure out a way to run 3 different colors of lights. I want to have Red, Yellow, Purple (making up 3 colors). Do these light need to be on 3 different channels to function when I want them too?

YES If you want to control them individually (eg for balance). Note: these will not mix (blend the light) without optical help If they are all just the same, all the time. One outlet (within the current Limits per channel)
