joneslights
DO the controllers have to be in a line, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or can the be out of order 1, 4, 5, 2, 3, 6 I have 2 new controllers I am adding in the middle of my setup. I'd rather not renumber all the channels in the software.
bossgroove
Anyway you want. It's the number you program it to be, not the order you hook them up. just set it up 2 then 1 real quick and watch the magic.
joneslights
I've always had them in order. I thought maybe I could mix them up. I was just getting confirmation.
Ponddude
I always put them in order too and didn't realize that you didn't have to do that. To save on cat5 cable, this year I am not putting the in order. When your computer sends out the signals, the controllers are "smart" enough to realize what order they are in. It really is a nice feature.
cmoore60
All controllers see all the commands, just only respond to what is intended for them.Chuck
bossgroove
It really is a distance saver. I am extremely happy that they can go in any order, because my starting point is now backwards from where I originally planned it to be.
