Denny Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 Even though I have 12 volts feeding channels 1-8 of the CMB16D, I still want to use a separate 12 volt source to power the CMB16D and EZ linker. If I connect this alternate battery power source to the CMB16D through the barrel connector, will theCMB16D take power through the aux power input or still derive power from the channels 1-8 side of the board?I would like to use an separate power source to run the electronics since the other 12 volt source will run my train's motors and the blower and pump for the snow machine smoke stack.
