USB x10

Hello all


Noob here requesting help

Here is the problem I have a X10 USB controller ( http://www.x10.com/activehomepro/ss_starter_cm15a.html )

and under the "Device Manager" is shows up only in the USB side
not in the Com port so is there a way to use the LOR2 with this controller
and or set the USB to a Con port

Welcome Jeff. AFAIK, the only x10 interface supported by LightORama is the CM11A interface, which uses a serial connection. I have used it and it works as advertised.

Also I don't have a Serial Plug-In, does those USB to Serial work ??

Dan has indicated that he will be adding USB x-10 support later this year.

I use the serial X-10 to power Up and down my FM Transmitter. I run an "FM Transmitter" show in the background in my schedule. Works great!
