Bevvyboy Clarke
The only writing on the unit is in the picture above which was bought from China last year the lights are 5v single colour pixels when the dip switch is on 10 (fun) the lights all operate in a random sequence so the channels seem to work but it's just not getting controlled by the laptop

Trying to zoom in to see details just pixelates everything. Post a picture of the top, front, and back. post a good picture of the lights with wires and pixels. Or do you still have the links to the site you bought the pixels and device from? If you do copy and paste them in your next reply. Take a screen shot of you "Network preferences" tab and take a screen shot of your "Sequence Editor" channel set up too. If everything is working with the test mode then it is probably a configuration issue. When you set up your configuration in "Network Preferences" you set the controller to the universe number you're going to use for your sequencing. In the sequence editor you need to set up the actual DMX device/channels.....Right click on any of the channel buttons...click on insert device...then insert device below... a new window will pop up. Then under "Device" select "DMX universe"...then under "DMX Universe settings" select the universe number you set up in "Network Preferences"... then click on "RGB Channels"...here is where you will choose the number of pixels you have. If they are Smart pixels you'll count the number of physical pixels you have and choose that number in the drop down field. Click "OK" and you'll see your DMX tab in the sequence editor. You'll click on the "+" sign and it will expand the tab to see the DMX universe you created. Then click on the "+" sign again to expand that tab and you'll see the individual DMX channels you just created for your controller. Then by clicking on the little RGB icon you can expand each of the "pixels" to see the separate RGB channels. It sounds confusing but once you start doing it is quite easy.
