Rick Hughes
I have a dozen Showtime controllers purchased over the years and have not upgraded the firmware in of them because they were working fine and I was not upgrading to S2 until this year.I'm pondering whether to update each of them now, run a test on them to be sure everything is working as it should, and deal with any issues identified (for example, I know one has a stuck opto). For those with more technical experience or newbie's as well, what would you suggest should be checked out, and are there any pitfalls to be aware of?Thanks for your comments and suggestions. Guest wbottomley
First off Rick... go to the hardware utility with a controller connected, click refresh, and it should tell what version of firmware you have.
Rick Hughes
Thanks ... that's the plan, plus a run through of all the functions.Hopefully there's nothing "curious" to be found.
LightORamaDan
Unless you are having a problem with the controllers there is no need to upgrade the firmware. Up to this point, all versions of he LOR Sequence Editor and Show Player are compatable with all versions of LOR hardware.Dan
