KeysNole
Channels 1-8 on my 1602W are dead...9-16 are fine. Fuse is good, power is good. Bad triac? I can get by without the 8 channels this year, but if it is something besides a triac that would be great.
Randy
Can you elaborate on "fuse is good" and "power is good"? What did you test exactly? Are you using two power cords?
k6ccc
Exceedingly unlikely that all eight triacs on one half of the board failed, and none on the other half. Far more likely a fuse (remember that there is a separate fuse for each half), or no power from the source (assuming two cords). justaddmorelights
I agree with Jim on this, I had a controller last year that blew 3 fuses before I realized it was a bad extension cord causing a short. Also, the controller will still power up with only one power input, I found that out at that time as well.
KeysNole
Thanks for the replies, it turned out to be a fuse!
