CTB16 Gen3 connection question

Hello all!

I have a quick question that I hope will be fairly simple.

I have two CTB16 boxes running the Halloween show connected from the PC --> USB dongle --> CTB16 Unit #1 --> CTB16 Unit #3.

I was going to add the third box (unit #2) into the mix, but the placement would be closer to the house than the first unit. Can they wired out of unit ID order?

Like this:

PC --> USB dongle --> CTB16 Unit #2 --> CTB16 Unit #1 --> CTB16 Unit #3?
