Derkngoogly Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Building a ccr screen, what is a good spacing? What has people used? I am thinking pvc pipe and wood? Ty in advance. Don
lightzilla Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Brian helped you that is good. I personally used 3 inch spacing. Gave me better resolutions. I used white zip ties to keep my strips up on the screen. I painted the 1 x 2's white which made the screen brighter but maybe a flat black colour would be better. I am hoping to get a vertical screen up this year.
Lee T. Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 (edited) My CCR Screen is 17' by 4' with four inch spacing. Built the frame with PVC pipe and covered it with chicken wire. Will be attaching the CCRs with white zip ties. Edited October 2, 2016 by Lee T.
Larry Leonhardt Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 There should be a special topic for CCR Matrix's Screen.
Larry Leonhardt Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Well, today I was testing my CCR's and 4 out of 13 don't work correctly, Have light up, and some lights just stay on. Does not matter what controller I use, And the very fist CCR I bought , cut in half, and have soldered back together work perfect, Go Figure. I have opened a ticket with LOR, Hope they can help me out.
