mpageler
Looking for ethernal wall plate so I can run multiple cat5 cables through the wall, to the outside. Did a guick search and see a lot of spllter plagtes..1 imput to multiple outputs. But looking for example, a plate with 4 imput ports to serve 4 output ports. Doesn't need to be super waterproof since it would be placed in the floor of a bay window that's open to the ground and is also cover by a porch. Dave Batzdorf
Try these: https://www.amazon.com/Keystone-Coupler-Digital-SECURE®-Ethernet-cables/dp/B00JBHE2DE/ref=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&qid=1473349444&sr=8-33-spons&keywords=leviton+quickport+6+connector&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/Leviton-41080-6WP-6-Port-QuickPort-Wallplate/dp/B00009W3AD/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473349509&sr=8-1&keywords=leviton+quickport+6+plate
Orville
I think the OP is looking for PRE-WIRED plates, example would be the plate would have 4 input RJ11 jacks installed and then either have connectors or some way to connect to another plate of the same type so he could run 4 different cat5 cables, or one that would have a single RJ11 jack and split out to another plate with 4 RJ11 jacks that are interconnected via connectors that plug into the back of the RJ11 jacks or possibly wired where he could slip the one wired plate through a hole in his bay window and mount to a hole for the second plate underneath the bay window outside, and mount the other attached plate to the interior floor of the bay window. I'm not sure if such items like this exist as I've not looked for any, but I've been considering a plate to plate wiring through one of the walls in my house for running 1 or 2 cat5 cables from the interior computer/USB 485B control system to my controllers outside. Dave Batzdorf
If your looking to just feed thru the wall, then the same will apply and use 1" patch cables between the walls.

Thats' what I need...separte female RJ45s on both side of the wall plate. Was finding that with some of the "quickport" products, you would have to wire the backs each connector...yuk. Dave Batzdorf
basically those quik-port type are just couplers. Great to have around in your box of goodies. You can lengthen any patch cord.
