jstomasi Posted August 25, 2016 Share Posted August 25, 2016 The new Pixel Tree Kit (16 strips of 25 pixels) are a great addition to the LOR hardware family. In looking at the capabilities of the pixie 8 controller it comes with it states that the controller can handle 8 strands of 100 pixels. The kit has 8 strands of 50 pixels, which leaves room on each strand for addition of 50 pixels technically. Now on to my question: QUESTION: 1. Will LOR offer a pre-configure RGB pixel STAR or something of the like for placement on this kit? If not, you are missing an opportunity and should consider it. Whats a tree without a star or some other topper, Not a complete tree in the eyes of the holiday decorating world. 2. Is there a way to mount a star on top of this pre-configured kit? 3. What will be the best way to interface with the pixel strands to DIY this. Obviously I have not yet received my kit and am trying to get ahead of the curve in my planning. 4. When will the documentation be released on the site for access to those whom want to start configuring these new props?
