Can I do this?

I am just starting with pixels and trying to figure out PE, I have a couple of things that I'm trying to figure out and can't seem to make work the way I want. I am hoping its just because I am missing something.

In a window frame, I want to make a chase go around the window, but want it to start and finish at exact places in the time. I know I can adjust speed, but if that doesn't line up I'm not sure how to adjust it closer. Is there a button that fills the effect to match the length of the effect. I am doing this in bars, is there a better effect for this?

I've created window frames and roof lines and grouped them together, I want to run a colour fade across the house. When I do this (using bars) it goes through each model in its order, not across the group as placed on the screen. Is there a way to do this look across all fixtures as they are placed, regardless of how they are ordered in the group?

It is true that if something is set up to sequence in PE it can no longer be done in SE, correct? I can figure out some things I want to do in SE but still want to take advantage of PE effects, and be able to use intensity files.

Any tips and help would be appreciated. thank you.

Try using the Curtain Effect.  It should do something very similar and will have a fit to time option.

Anwser ;The Curtain effect may be your best choice. If the windows have different pixel counts then you could apply the effect to each window individually and adjust the time but that could get time consuming.

Anwser; Go back to the group and set them for Preview, it will allow left/right up/down effects no matter where they are located in your display.

Anwser; Correct it is one or the other.
