Mike H Posted March 20, 2016 Share Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) I've been using the SC485-RJ45 Serial Adapter since day 1 on my system. I want to convert over to the USB-RS485 adapter which I purchased last year at the Christmas Expo. Can anyone tell me what all I need to change in my current show configurations to change over to this different adapter from my serial port to USB? If it matters, I've picked up 2 of the red HS adapters and 1 of the black adapters. Thanks, I appreciate any information. ItsMeBobO Posted March 21, 2016 Share Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) Install the adapter by plugging it in. It will probably auto install, if not you may have to use the disc which came with it or download from LOR. In the Hardware Utility Manual Select you will see all the Comm port numbers that LOR knows about. Select the new one which will probably be a higher number. Answer yes. Thats all !
