Doug Farish
I am having a problem with the wiring on a dumb rgb strip. The connection that was going into the strip came lose. I looked and two of the wires had broke ;lose and I had to cut the strip. I wired it back according to the way it said to do but the strip stays on. Mr. P
It could be one of two things, you either wired it wrong or you blew the mosfet. If it shorted at any time when the wires came loose then you more then likely blew the mosfet on the board. Doug Farish
I am sure that it blew something on the board. I had a open channel and the strip workes just fine. Thanks,Doug
Mr. P
You can send the board back to LOR for repair or if you have any basic soldering skills you can replace the mosfet yourself. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/NXP-Semiconductors/PSMN022-30PL127/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMshyDBzk1%2FWiy8mkjihaa%252bLT7ikOfKaAiM%3D
