Gilles
Is it supposed to be a tiny bit loose? I mean I can wiggle it a bit. When I plug the cat5 in HU does not recognize the controller. If I plug the cable into the other jack, which sit tight on the board then it shows up in the HU. Is it toasted or I can fix it somehow?
jfuller8400
I'd make sure the pins in the jack aren't bent. If they look fine then I'd open a ticket with the help desk.
Dave Batzdorf
Also it still can be usable if its the last controller in the chain. Then send it in to LOR for repair.
bob_moody
If you are handy with a soldering iron, contact LOR (as Dave and JFuller mentioned) and they can send you a replacement socket. They did for me. Took longer to get the board out of the case than it did to fix it. Just make sure you have a good solder sucker or wick.
