daddyalj
Due to an issue with a controller not working, I am trying to rearrange some things to be able to get things running until I can get my controller repaired. My Question is, Can I mount an ELL on the center pole of my mega tree and have it work with no interference from the lights of the mega tree? Thanks for your help.Alan
EmmienLightFan
The lights shouldn't interfere with the ELLS ELLS are RF so it doesn't need line of sight.

The lights should not interfere that is true. I Have one mounted inside my Mega tree and it is fine. As for the last statement.. you may want to rethink that one. plasmadrive
Oh no.. they are RF.. but Like most FR it is line of site. That doesn't mean with simple things you can't see around like a house or a bush,.. http://www.designnews.com/author.asp?doc_id=210156https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-line-of-sight_propagationhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line-of-sight_propagation Edited November 7, 2015 by plasmadrive
