MikeLand Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 I am having the same issue as mentioned here. I recently downloaded the gamma and installed on my laptop. I keep getting "please wait while windows configures light-o-rama" when I run the sequence editor. Eventually the sequence editor starts.I noticed the same message in the event log as others have posted. I checked the folder that Steve mentions and the MSXML4.DLL is missing out of that folder.Now to try Steve's fix.Worked like a charm!Thanks Steve.Not sure if these details are needed but I'll post them here just in case.McAfee ViruScan Enterprise 8.5.0i, installed patches: none.ZoneAlarm firewall version 7.0.462.000.I noticed when installing the MSXML that zonealarm alerted me of outgoing internet connections, so I don't know if this may have been blocked in the past during installation.THis took me a while to find and finally searching on the word "installation" led me to here.
