DMX channels and visualizer

I don't know if this is the right forum for my question.

 

This year I am going to add a few of the holiday coro canes to my display. I am running my show with the Showtime director that is suppose to output DMX on one of the ports.

 

In the SE I added the DMX channels, and created a visualizer file for the candy canes. The problem is I go to sequence and run the visualizer but nothing shows up. I made sure all the channels match up in the SE and the visualizer.

Any suggestions?  I want to see what I'm sequencing.

Yes, They altered things in the new version
