John Pfeiffer
Those of you which purchased the 50W CCF's, beware the "waterproof cat 5 connectons" are not water proof. One month into using these floods, mine have corroded and are unusable. I am resolving the issue by removing the existing cat 5 cables from the inside of the case, and putting my own cables in, which will run to the controllers. This will eliminate the connection which is subject to the weather. Check your connections too see if there is moisture in them, and get ready too make repairs. Corrosion plays major havoc with the controllers. These 50W CCF's put out fantastic light, but their connections for cat 5 are trash; a real weak link. sax
When using cat5 outside a box best to use this stuff. In fact not a bad idea to use it on all your cat 5 connections. http://www.holidaycoro.com/product-p/misc-diaeletric-spray.htm
