1600 Series Randomly Changing Assigned ID

When I went to troubleshoot my display, one of the controllers was acting up. It kept randomly changing to a random id.

I took it inside, and whenever it gets powered on it starts freaking out. Any ideas?

Sometimes the rotary dials cause problems with the UnitID. In fact, this is one of the reasons the rotary dials were replaced with the LED screen on the G3 controllers.

 

Try and spin the dials a few times and see if you can work out any dirt or other things that may be causing a problem.
