musicman130
I will be doing Halloween for the first time next year and I need some help on how many cables I will need to run for this to work correctly. Attached is the picture of the house and yard we will be using for the display. My problem is we are going to be using both sides of the yard and I'm not sure how to incorporate all my devices. On the L side of the house we are going to have 2 LOR boxes and an e6804. On the R side of the yard we are going to have 2 LOR boxes, an E682 and dumb modules. How many cables will I have to run for this setup to work? Will I have to run 2 to the L side of the yard, 1 for LOR boxes and 1 for the 6804 and 3 to the R side of the yard, 1 for LOR boxes, 1 for E682 and 1 for dumb modules or is there a way to condense the amount of network cable coming out of the garage? jerrymac
if you have the e685 with two outputs (or get it) you can run all the LOR with 2 cables. the E1.31 can be run with 2 cat 5 cables, This way you don't have to run to the end of one side then double back for the other side.
