MikeSD
Is there any perceived brightness difference between a bulb (CCB) and a pixel (CCP)? They have the same LED supposedly but I'm wondering if there is any perceived difference in brightness, perhaps due to packaging.
k6ccc
I don't have any CCBs to compare against my CCPs, but I can make a pretty good guess. Because the LED in the CCB is illuminating a large bulb, I would assume that the perceived brightness would be less.
George Simmons
Pixels and ribbons are considerably brighter than the bulbs.
lightzilla
Just curious are the bulbs pixels in disguise? I saw that you can buy bulb shells to go over pixels. Anyhow I have ccps & they look bright in my eyes on my house.

Yes the CCB's are just CCP's with covers and the base is a slightly different design
