Inject power to a stand alone ELL?

Hello,

 

I am using my CCB in an area without a controller and would like to use my ELLs.

 

Can I inject power somewhere to get them to work without attaching another random controller?

On the ELL I have 1 jack connected to a cat5 cable going to the CCP.

On the other jack I have a cat5 cable that is cut in 1/2. I hooked a 9V power supply to wires on pins 3&6 and the ELL now has power.
