rhino
How does one test an ELL to make sure it's in working order? Let's say, a bank of controllers on an ELL is not doing anything. Can it be the ELL? If so, how does one tell? Let's say, a bank of controllers has an occasional issue with the channel not coming on when it's supposed to, and not going off when it's supposed to. Can it be the ELL? If so, how does one tell it's the ELL, and not a controller, or a data cable, or...? How does one determine that an ELL is still functioning properly? dgrant
Run the HWU and Refresh. Whatever controllers on the receiving end, should respond and show up. If they don't, its not working. Look in the first one...is the red light blinking? On the computer side where you connect the ELL to the USB/RS485 adapter, do you know it needs to be the powered one?
